• born in 1963 in Basal (Switzerland)

• mother Ruth is a paintress, father Johann a wood carver

• first early expierences and gamely expressions with colours and forms in a whimsical way

• starts his artistic career mainly as painter, first personal exhibition in 1979

• since 1981 emphasis on sculpture

• 1984: completion of his studies in interior design

• 1984-88: works for an architectural office in Vienna

• 1988: the family moves away from the metropolis to the southern county Carinthia (and the village Liebenfels)

• 1991: recognition as sculptor through the Austrian Minister of Education and Art

• numerous works in and for public spaces and interests

• since 1998 international symposiums, organisation and participation
